Learn English while you help

Hi mates

I've discovered a website to practise English vocabulary at the same time we give grains of rice. For every correct answer you get, one grain of rice is added to the United Nations World Food Programme. You can also choose other topics, such as world capitals, art, flags of the world, etc.

Freerice has got two main objectives:
1. Provide education to everyone.
2. Help end world hunger by providing rice.

Why not helping while learning?
Here you have the link: Freerice.com

Online English exercises

Hello everyone:

Have you ever wondered if there is a site where you can have different online exercises? Of course th Internet has plenty of resources, with high quality too.

As a professional, I have been using this site with my students for several years. In my opinion it's a good site where you can find lots of exercises of different levels and types.

As a teacher you can create an account for your students. In this way you can select the exercises for them and follow their progress. But if you only want to practise a bit, you needn't have an account. You just look for what you need and you do your online exercise(s).

And last but not least, it's completely FREE!!!

Why don't you try? Click here

I hope it helps.

Are we really free?

Hello mates:

I've recently heard about Derren Brown.
Derren is a British mentalist and illusionist able to predict and influence people's thoughts through the use of suggestion, manipulation of the decision-making process and read the subtle physical and psychological signs that indicate what a person is thinking.

If you want to have a look at his site: Derren Brown's official web

Good morning:

I have recently discovered one website where anyone can contribute. It's Universal subtitles by Amara. It is an organisatio promoting both the trascription and translation of subtitles for allkinds of videos.
